Student Center Gym Closure
The Student Center will be closing the gymnasium on Monday, December 5th for the next phase of capital construction. The gym will be closed for approximately 3 1/2 months and the anticipated completion date is March 19, 2012.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, but are looking forward to the upgrades that will result. Project details includes: seismic and fire safety upgrades as well as a gym floor replacement and energy efficient lighting retrofit.
Please note that the winter intramurals leagues have been cancelled for the 2012 season, but we're looking forward to the return of intramurals in April 2012.
Finally, the Student Center staff is looking into open gym availability in the immediate Portland area to help students shake off the winter blues, and we'll keep you posted on the results.

Coming Soon to the Student Center
Nordstrom has recently made a donation to the OHSU Student Center. They have donated a 7ft. Steinway baby grand piano that was located in their downtown store, and it is being delivered to the Student Center on Wednesday, October 5th. The piano will be located in the Nucleus Lounge and available for use by OHSU students and employees on a first come, first served basis. The piano will be locked when not in use and interested musicians are encouraged to contact the front desk to check out the key.
